Wood Letters

Where did we get these wood pieces you ask? No need to go any further then the garage. Where we cut and sanded pieces of wood we already had. It has been a great hands-on experience/activity which has already helped with letter formation, building words and to just plain have fun with. We have also made up a little game, of writing a word on the chalkboards and then he will try to form that word with the wood pieces. By far he enjoys making the letter "D/d" over and over again. If you couldn't guess my kids are currently 'in to' Dora and Diego.
