A visit to Hannibal, Mo

We took a trip big road trip last week. The first stop was to Mark Twain's Boyhood home in Hannibal, Mo. For those of you who might be in the area, it is less then an hour from Nauvoo, Il, it is far worth the time. It is located on the way to St. Louis in case you choose to fly in and out of there. We spent about two hours there and got to see quite a bit of stuff, but certainly you could spend a full day taking in all the sights.

Lincon Boyhood Home

Here in Southern Indiana, there is a surprising amount of history. Very nearby is the Lincoln Boyhood National memorial. We spend the day here with the kids and grandma and grandpa.

4 posts on about our trip to St. Louis.

Saint Louis Magic House

We had a wonderful time at the Magic House. They had this body sized peg impression maker, a three story twirly slide and a large static generator. Among other things. We ended up spending about 3 hours and got to see everything. There was plenty for everyone to do.
