'moods.' Well, on Saturday we got just that. Since our 4 year old has been begging us to fly a kite and the weather was just perfect. We celebrated Valentine's Day by doing just that!
Now this is no ordinary kite that you just watch the wind blow a few feet above your head. This 'airplane' kite that took Tom a good hour or two to put together spins, soars and swoops and makes us 'parents' feel like a kid again.
Both kids loved it too. They held onto the kite string so tight, they understood that it would blow away if they didn't. We were lucky enough to not get the kite stuck in any trees or on any of our neighbors roofs. We are looking forward to more days of kite flying!
