Spring Break 2008

This week was spring break...no preschool. We played, went swimming at the Y, had a picnic at the park with friends, dinner with friends and went to the children's museum! Fun Times!

Another milestone accomplished: curling the tongue on demand-

Jesus is nice

Tonight I was putting my son to bed and we had a cute conversation;
He says:"when daddy comes home, he'll lock the doors?"
I say "yeah"
He says "good, that way no mean guys will come in our house"
I say "no mean guys will ever come in our house"
He thinks for a minute and then he starts naming all of his friends and saying that they aren't mean and that they are nice.
I reply by saying "your right all of your friends are nice"
He then states "Jesus is nice too mommy"
Of course this made me smile!

Blog Number One

So here we are, in Newburgh. Finally settling into a sense of stability. After having endured 6 years of school, 5 different homes, 4 vehicles, 3 cross country moves, 2 child births, and 1 house purchase we can now say that we are grown-ups. So since it seams that everyone is now blogging, we thought "hey why not". Unfortunately, we really don't have much of anything interesting to say, so thanks for reading our first blog, and hopefully the next one will be better.
